Here it is! The long awaited, eagerly anticipated bio of mine. This is my second la-ja. My first one was overrun by unwanted guests, and I took the high road...or at least that's my opinion. I love my livejournal, and i love making friends through it. I have to lock it up, though, because of the nature of some posts. You can always find a story about so and so getting fired because of something said in a blog.

I'm slowly coming to grips with the fact that my life is slipping away from me. As i get older, i become more complacent. The world is growing up around me, and I'm staying the same. I hide in my house. I lose my friends to marriage and careers. I'm happy to seclude myself and lose myself in movies, tv, or video games. I'm your classic introvert. There's a dawn, though. A realization! I have to grow up -nod- So that's what i'm working on.

So apart from the emo Jonny, what else is there? Weeeell, i graduated from LSU with a degree in Public Relations. Jack shit that did me. I'm currently working as an editor for an emergency management agency. It's an ok job. Interesting subject matter.

Do note: I read for a living. I edit for a living. There's no way i'm going to go back over my posts. I understand that they're errorful, and i'm ok with it. You should be too.

I like to cook. I'm supposedly involved with outdoorsy things, but i obviously prefer indoorsy. I have really good friends, and i love them. I just wish I could hang out with them more. I have issues, and i don't share them with people. I'm impersonal like that. I used to be a type-a kinda guy. I miss that guy. I own an Xbox 360. If you have a gamertag, let me know, and we'll hook up. I like poppable food. Donut holes are the best. I'm interested in things. I wish singing were my passion. I have to settle for karaoke. I fly in most of my dreams. It's exhilarating, and it never gets old. I have zero fashion sense. I'm in love with the idea of being in love with myself, but I don't love myself, and i'm not doing anything to love myself. You're right! I am a conundrum.

Robert Frost once said, "In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on." It really is just that simple, and I know it. So here I am, going on with life because we all float on, ok?
